Mt 18:15-20<\/p>\n\n\n\n

15\u201cIf your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother. 16But if he does not listen, take one or two others along with you, that every word may be confirmed by the evidence of two or three witnesses. 17If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector. 18Truly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. 19Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. 20For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mt 16:13-20<\/p>\n\n\n\n

13Now when Jesus came into the district of Caesare\u02b9a Philippi, he asked his disciples, \u201cWho do men say that the Son of man is?\u201d 14And they said, \u201cSome say John the Baptist, others say Eli\u02b9jah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.\u201d 15He said to them, \u201cBut who do you say that I am?\u201d 16Simon Peter replied, \u201cYou are the Christ, the Son of the living God.\u201d 17And Jesus answered him, \u201cBlessed are you, Simon Bar-Jona! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven. 18And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the powers of death shall not prevail against it. 19I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.\u201d 20Then he strictly charged the disciples to tell no one that he was the Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

21And Jesus went away from there and withdrew to the district of Tyre and Sidon. 22And behold, a Canaanite woman from that region came out and cried, \u201cHave mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David; my daughter is severely possessed by a demon.\u201d 23But he did not answer her a word. And his disciples came and begged him, saying, \u201cSend her away, for she is crying after us.\u201d 24He answered, \u201cI was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.\u201d 25But she came and knelt before him, saying, \u201cLord, help me.\u201d 26And he answered, \u201cIt is not fair to take the children\u2019s bread and throw it to the dogs.\u201d 27She said, \u201cYes, Lord, yet even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their master\u2019s table.\u201d 28Then Jesus answered her, \u201cO woman, great is your faith! Be it done for you as you desire.\u201d And her daughter was healed instantly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
