28\u201cWhat do you think? A man had two sons; and he went to the first and said, \u2018Son, go and work in the vineyard today.\u2019 29And he answered, \u2018I will not\u2019; but afterward he repented and went. 30And he went to the second and said the same; and he answered, \u2018I go, sir,\u2019 but did not go. 31Which of the two did the will of his father?\u201d They said, \u201cThe first.\u201d Jesus said to them, \u201cTruly, I say to you, the tax collectors and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you. 32For John came to you in the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him, but the tax collectors and the harlots believed him; and even when you saw it, you did not afterward repent and believe him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

21<\/sup>Then Peter came up and said to him, \u201cLord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times?\u201d 22<\/sup>Jesus said to him, \u201cI do not say to you seven times, but seventy times seven. 23<\/sup>\u201cTherefore the kingdom of heaven may be compared to a king who wished to settle accounts with his servants. 24<\/sup>When he began the reckoning, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents; 25<\/sup>and as he could not pay, his lord ordered him to be sold, with his wife and children and all that he had, and payment to be made. 26<\/sup>So the servant fell on his knees, imploring him, \u2018Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay you everything.\u2019 27<\/sup>And out of pity for him the lord of that servant released him and forgave him the debt. 28<\/sup>But that same servant, as he went out, came upon one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii; and seizing him by the throat he said, \u2018Pay what you owe.\u2019 29<\/sup>So his fellow servant fell down and besought him, \u2018Have patience with me, and I will pay you.\u2019 30<\/sup>He refused and went and put him in prison till he should pay the debt. 31<\/sup>When his fellow servants saw what had taken place, they were greatly distressed, and they went and reported to their lord all that had taken place. 32<\/sup>Then his lord summoned him and said to him, \u2018You wicked servant! If he listens to you, you have gained your brother. 16But if he does not listen, take one or two others along with you, that every word may be confirmed by the evidence of two or three witnesses. 17If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector. 18Truly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. 19Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. 20For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
