1\u201cLet not your hearts be troubled; believe in God, believe also in me. 2In my Father\u2019s house are many rooms; if it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? 3And when I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. 4And you know the way where I am going.\u201d 5Thomas said to him, \u201cLord, we do not know where you are going; how can we know the way?\u201d 6Jesus said to him, \u201cI am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but by me. 7If you had known me, you would have known my Father also; henceforth you know him and have seen him.\u201d 8Philip said to him, \u201cLord, show us the Father, and we shall be satisfied.\u201d 9Jesus said to him, \u201cHave I been with you so long, and yet you do not know me, Philip? He who has seen me has seen the Father; how can you say, \u2018Show us the Father\u2019? 10Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father in me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own authority; but the Father who dwells in me does his works. 11Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father in me; or else believe me for the sake of the works themselves. 12\u201cTruly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I go to the Father.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1\u201cTruly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door but climbs in by another way, that man is a thief and a robber; 2but he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. 3To him the gatekeeper opens; the sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. 4When he has brought out all his own, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. 5A stranger they will not follow, but they will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.\u201d 6This figure Jesus used with them, but they did not understand what he was saying to them. 7So Jesus again said to them, \u201cTruly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. 8All who came before me are thieves and robbers; but the sheep did not heed them. 9I am the door; if any one enters by me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. 10The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

16When evening came, his disciples went down to the sea, 17got into a boat, and started across the sea to Caper\u02b9na-um. It was now dark, and Jesus had not yet come to them. 18The sea rose because a strong wind was blowing. 19When they had rowed about three or four miles, they saw Jesus walking on the sea and drawing near to the boat. They were frightened, 20but he said to them, \u201cIt is I; do not be afraid.\u201d 21Then they were glad to take him into the boat, and immediately the boat was at the land to which they were going.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
